Maarten started his career in consulting, earning four promotions in seven years at &samhoud, a boutique strategy consultancy. After completing his MBA at HEC Paris (GPA 3.8/4), he joined Kantar Consulting, advising global brands like Philips, Ferrero & FrieslandCampina on growth strategies.
​Since 2018, he has led commercial growth for start-ups & scale-ups as Commercial Director & Head of Strategy, Marketing & Sales. In these entrepreneurial roles he has driven brand & revenue growth for pioneering food, beverage, agriculture & tech companies.
Challenging boundaries
Maarten has always been eager to challenge boundaries. This led him to push physical boundaries in sports and marathons. To cross geographical boundaries of 40+ countries and live in Paris and Cape town. And to explore mental boundaries in an Asian monastery.
